Square braided silica rope
High Silica Square Braided Ropes are braided by high silica yarn with 96% SiO2. Silica rope can be used for a long time without changing its properties at the temperature 900℃. Its softening point is closely 1700℃ and it can be used under 1000℃ situation for a long time.
Silica Square Braided Ropes are silica ropes used primarily as packing for high temperature sealing applications. Silica Ropes withstand extreme temperatures up to 1,800°F (1,000°C) and are used as tape cores, furnace door gaskets, high temperature caulking, and coke oven door seals. Silica ropes are used extensively by the Power Generation, Furnace, Oven, Refinery, Construction, Shipbuilding, Welding and Metal Processing Industries.
