High Silica Glass Marbles

High silica glass marbles belong to Na2O—B2O3—SiO3 glass. They are used to make high silica fiber, which can be used for the thermal insulation of spacecraft, ablative material, high temperature-proof materials and high temperature-resistant insulation materials etc.

Appearance quality

1. The diameter of the glass is φ16.0±0.7mm. Glass marbles shouldn’t be any out of round or misshapen macroscopically. The largest radius the shortest radius is not over1.0mm.

2. There should not be any big macula, over 5mm chapped surface, or other impurity such as oil stains, alkali, powder, rust etc.

3. It is free of stones, surface contamination or excessive air bubbles.
