Welding Curtain Fabric
Welding curtain fabric is high silica fabric, which offering high
temperature resistance up to 1000°C (1832°F). High silica fabrics give superior
protection from welding sparks and weld slag in hot work protection and meet
military certificate specifications.
Welding Curtain is a heat resistant
fabric designed to directly use for a hot work operation. Welding curtains are
intended for use in vertical applications with light to moderate exposures such
as that resulting from chipping, grinding, heat treating, sand blasting and
light horizontal welding. They are designed to prevent sparks from escaping a
confined area.
Product Applications:
Welding Curtain Silica fabrics can be used
for welding blankets, fire blankets, fire curtains, stress relieving blankets,
flexible connectors, furnace curtains, gasket materials in valves controlling
the flow of molten alloys, etc.
It’s ideal for cutting operations,
heavy duty welding protection and molten metal industry.
Product Characteristics:
● Resists penetration of weld “Slag”.
● Excellent Insulating Properties.
● Fireproof.
● Easy sewn and fabricated.
● High flexibility and high strength.
● Good acid resistance and erode resistance.
● Low thermal shrinkage.
● Non-asbestos or ceramic fibers.
